Because I often review work at home programs like Freedom With Writing and make money opportunities, I’m usually very good at figuring out what’s a scam and what isn’t.
And I’m very rarely wrong about these assumptions. Yet today, that rare situation occurred once more because I really thought Freedom With Writing was a scam, until I went through it and learned differently.
This program is great but before you go through it, let me share what it teaches and if it’s for you.
Quick Report on Freedom With Writing:
Creator: Jacob Fans.
Price: It’s free.
Overall rating: 5 out of 10 stars.
One thing I liked about this site is that it doesn’t make you pay for stuff you are entitled to see for free.
And with all the content Freedom With Writing provides, not only is it legitimate but I will be recommending it for you to check out.
Freedom With Writing in a nutshell:
You just sign up to their email list and they will, as promised, send you a list of sites that are hiring writers. That’s already a major plus for this program being legitimate as usually programs like these I’ve found in the past came with some sort of catch or “buy this program first” type angle.
But anyway, you will also get a bonus ebook that is 54 pages long which I also found to contain good information.
Basically this site is doing things the right way when it comes to helping people connect to things they are looking for. There are unfortunately a lot of websites that do things like this, but instead of giving it away for free, they charge for it.
There’s 2 places like that I know of personally: Work From Home Wizards and Legit Writing Jobs. Stay away from those places!
And my biggest criticism of those places is what Freedom With Writing doesn’t make. I’m glad this place exists. However, there are other options to consider for freelance gigs which also involve writing:
How does Freedom With Writing make money (for themselves)?
There’s gotta be something in it for them right?
Well so far the only thing I see is that they host Adsense ads on the site so when you visit and click on any of them, they’ll make some money. I also do a little bit of Adsense on a few of my sites.
Other than that, I only see links to their ebook. And that ebook has no outgoing links to third party companies. The only link is to email the author, David Masters. And the ads you see on their site are not associated with them directly. And because they offer you information without an actual price, that’s very good.
The only other thing you may see from this place is that they try to sell you something via email. Usually email collection involves something like that down the line. But I’m not too worried about that since they’ve already provided me with so much as it is.
Let’s talk about that 54 page ebook because it has good value:
I skimmed through it and really enjoyed what I saw. You will learn the basics of creating your own ebook and selling it. The topics within the book dive into things you like and writing an ebook about a solution to something.
Writing your own ebook may not be what you’re looking for, but I would recommend reading it anyway. You never know if it’ll provide you with some cool ideas you can use on your own. I’ve written ebooks before so for me personally, this kind of information is golden.
Can you really get good writing jobs through Freedom With Writing’s help?
I don’t see why not.
The email I received from Freedom With Writing recommended 2 places:
- Scripted.
- And Writers Access.
I have never dealt with those companies, but you can join them for yourself and find out.
I would however make sure there is no price in joining so you can see if it’s good. Also, another good freelance writing program worth checking out is My Freelance Paycheck.
By the way, while I was looking at Writer’s Access site, a chat window popped up and a customer representative asked if I needed any help. At first, I though it was some robot but decided to test it so I asked a question and surprisingly I received a response. That’s actually a huge bonus point for that site.
One other thing I wanted to add was in addition to the 2 sites I was recommended by Freedom With Writing, there 2 more underneath it which were basically pages where you submit a story on a topic they ask you to write about and they’ll pay you for it. If the topic is something you are experienced in, I believe it’s worth checking into.
So everything I have seen with this whole site so far including their recommendations does not suggest a scam is going on. It’s just that every link they provide me takes me first through their main site and THEN their recommendation. But it’s their main site’s pages which all host ads which is why I think they’re doing it. Like I said, I see nothing wrong with this.
Considering everything is legitimate, the rest it up to you. If you are a good writer and believe you can offer great quality content, go for it.
I also believe that if you have a knack for this type of stuff and really enjoy writing, I would consider taking things beyond just writing for someone else and actually starting a blog of your own (on the side).
There are a lot of people doing this and there is a great way to turn that into a whole business if you know what to do. If you are interested in that, one program which is great at showing you how to get this done is Wealthy Affiliate.
Pros:
- They are doing this sort of business the right and legitimate way.
- I do believe you can get hired and find good jobs through their recommendations.
- Their ebook also has great information pertaining to writing.
Cons:
- The site is a little bit messy and disorganized in my opinion, but I don’t see that as a deal breaker.
Final Rating: Freedom With Writing
Green Flag (Good site!)
5 out of 10 stars. I don’t see any issues with this site and recommend it.
My final thoughts:
After seeing so many bad examples in the past, I never though I’d see a site like Freedom With Writing that does things correctly in helping people out. Yeah sure they might make a little bit, but there’s really no cost to you to try this place out and because of that and also because they give you great information, I have no problem with them.
I do need to apologize to the creator because as I said in my title, I though they were a scam and you already know why that is, but I do get things wrong sometimes. I congratulate Freedom With Writing for making this type of site. I believe they’re going to help a lot of people out.
So you’re recommending this Freedom with Writing, but you really have no proof that it works, but you have no proof that it doesn’t work, so that means it’s good? I think you’re the scammer here.
How can I be scamming someone if I am not even promoting this program? If you’re referring to the other, honestly, try it. But here is what you need to know:
I have not dealt with the websites they talked about, but I have been a part of others so I know how an idea like this works. Plus Freedom With Writing is free. They give you FREE content and don’t profit from you registering with their recommended sites.
From the MASS amounts of products I buy and test, the people who sell them always get paid somehow directly and/or I become a lead for them and they basically spam me.
Hi. I wanna join your group as a writer, so how can I go about it?
Hi Razi, which one is it: WA or this one?
