Site Flipping Riches Review: A Poor And Generic Course.

If you’re looking to sell websites, know it can be a profitable thing to do. But if you’re going to try to utilize the methods taught in Site Flipping Riches, then I’ll recommend against that and show you what’s better in this review.

Name: Site Flipping Riches.

Price: $7+ with 1 up-sell for “master re-sell rights” to sell the product at almost any price you want.

Overall Rating: 1 out of 10 stars.

This program is informative from a big picture point of view, but in terms of details and what actions to take, it’s terrible and as a result, there’s no real substantive value.

Site Flipping Riches in a nutshell:

A very short course on how to do domain flipping (site flipping) and earning money in the process.

The course is broken down into 5 modules, each of which comes in PDF, video and audio format, but all of them explain the same thing. Most of the PDF’s are a little less than 10 pages each and the videos are basically power point presentations.

Usually when training courses have modules, I explain each of them in a summary, but the modules in this course were so generic that it’s not even worth typing about. If you’re new to site flipping, you’ll feel like you’ve hit a goldmine reading this, but if you start trying to understand specific steps you need to take, that’s when you may feel like I did: That there is just not enough detailed information to actually do anything.

Basically the course comes down to these tips:

  • Buy websites for low prices and sell them for high prices.
  • Find domains in niches dealing with health, wealth and love (They aren’t niches, here are 50 that are niches).
  • Try to make sure the domain you buy has Google Adsense on it and is generating traffic.
  • You’re given tips on how much to sell websites for which is completely standard.
  • When you buy the site, they talk about generating backlinks, using keywords and other general things to get more traffic, generate more revenue and then sell the website for a higher price, but there is no training on these specific things! How is a beginner supposed to understand backlinks, content generation, keywords and other SEO terms if they are new? This course certainly won’t do a good job of teaching it.

Whoever wrote this did a pretty poor job, so allow me to help:

Domain flipping is absolutely a popular form of online business. I don’t personally do it because I think it’s outdated, but there are ways to make tons of money. This course is not one of those ways, but only gives big picture examples. You can truly make a lot of money selling websites but you would first need to understand the business to do that, and this program just doesn’t teach that well in my opinion.

Courses like Niche Flipper would be perfect for anyone seeking to get into domain flipping so if you’re serious about this business, try that program. There’s a program which goes into specifics, the way it should be done!

But if you’re just aiming to do research, here’s what you need to know:

When you buy domain names, you can either buy them new or previously used ones. Generally used ones may cost more especially if it’s a name that is popular (more potential brand recognition) and the most expensive ones will be those which are already making good money.

You can either buy a site that is already making money and has content on it or start fresh. Starting fresh is going to take a lot longer as it requires you build up it’s authority, but it’s a more safer bet in my opinion especially since sites that are already used may have bad history. Things like being Google slapped, using black hat techniques are things you have to inquire about with a website owner whose domain you’re aiming to buy. If it’s fresh, you can certainly buy it.

I prefer buying fresh new domain names as it starts a clear slate and if you know how to build it up, it can make a lot of money and if you get bored with it or decide not to use it, at least then a high generating site can sell for at least 10 times as much.

Building up a site requires a lot of work, content creation and stuff you can technically outsource, but if you decide to buy a domain name and then pay others to build it up for you to generate money and then sell the site, be careful that the people you pay do NOT use the same black hat techniques I talked about which make a site basically worthless in my opinion. You’d be spending more time getting it back up in the ranks than if you were to have a new site and build that one up.

There are at least 3 resources I just provided you that will give you detailed information on how to build up a site so that it sells well when the time comes. If you decide to buy a site for a cheap price from someone and are sure it’s clean from anything black hat, continue to build upon it by adding content to the site and targeting good profitable keywords for it. You will also have to do the same thing with a new site.

This kind of information is unfortunately not something you would find in Site Flipping Riches and the way they show you to do things is very risky because by not providing the detailed information you absolutely need in this business, you’re spending money and not being prepared for different outcomes that may arise.

Final Rating: Site Flipping Riches

1 star

Red Flag

1 out of 10 stars. Very poor program, even for the $7+.

My final thoughts:

Let’s forget about Site Flipping Riches and focus on the real topic. I’ve never sold any site I’ve made but that’s because I feel you can do more by working on it and having it generate revenue.

A lot of people compare site flipping to house flipping and they are very similar, but my mindset is creating a money maker from my 1 or multiple sites and having it do that for me for months and years to come rather than selling it for 1 high price and never being able to leverage it again.

Any website can be turned into a profit generator. I consistently use training from an excellent program called Wealthy Affiliate and to do this. Whether or not I will want to sell that in the future is always going to remain an option, but getting there is the hard part. I think if you reach a point with your website where it does well, you may think twice about selling it.
