Rank Cipher Review. 3 Reasons I do Not Advise Using it.

Quick Report:rank cipher review

Name: Rank Cipher.

Price: Unknown as it’s been taken down apparently…

Overall Rating: 1 out of 10 stars.

This software uses old, dead tactics of ranking websites organically. Focusing on this will honestly not do much and it may actually end up hurting your site’s position in Google and other search engines.

Recommended? No.

What is Rank Cipher?

So this is a software tool that was made somewhere in 2016-2017 in which you basically submit your content through it and it distributes that to high “authority websites” all across the internet, with the hopes that you’ll get more backlinks from it.

The idea behind the backlinks is that the more of them you get, the higher positioning you’ll get on Google. So simply put: More backlinks to your site = higher positioning on Google for it. Supposedly this software is supposed to make the process of SEO easy.

But that’s just the description of the software program and what it does. In reality, this theory is not a good one…

The 3 major problems with Rank Cipher:

1) The site/program is no longer active. It was on JVZoo but no longer, and it’s main domain name is down.

2) The idea of using backlinks is pretty much dead, at least the way that this software pitches it. This would have worked well in 2010 and earlier, but the glory days of backlinks are over. One of 2 things will happen if you try this sort of stuff today.

Either…

A) Your site will not get ANY extra weight from it or

B) Your site will get slapped by Google. In short, the opposite of this program’s intent…

3) While this program does correctly mention that SEO is difficult in that it’s tough to reach first page positions, it’s solution for doing so couldn’t be worse for attempting to fix it. It just won’t.

I’m telling you guys, this form of backlinking is pretty much dead and the reason for it being so is because so many people used it back in the day that it caused all sorts of abuse and extremely low quality websites hit first page results on Google, prompting issues from browsers and causing Google to step in. In the process, the strategy of backlinking not only took a hit, it pretty much stopped working.

The bigger issue beyond Rank Cipher…

Despite what happened to backlinks, there’s still programs like this one pushing that idea still and I honestly don’t know if the owners know or knew about the things I mentioned about backlinks. After all, it was released in 2016, long AFTER it was confirmed how bad backlinking tactics like these could be on a website’s SEO health.

But still, them making this program after the fact shows me they either didn’t know or knew and didn’t care about what using this type of software on websites would actually do them…

In any case, regardless of if this program is still active or not, what has not changed is the concept of backlinks being bad for SEO (the way it’s used in this software program).

And the bigger issue overall is that people still flock to these programs over and over, especially beginners because they are told this nonsense about backlinks being the only way to get good rankings. In the process, those who engage with these types of programs via their websites end up being surprised when their SEO rankings drop and don’t increase. Some are left confused and angry and think Google is the reason, not understanding that they were punished for using the same type of stuff Google was against for years…

The better way to do SEO nowadays…

A few years ago, after I personally suffered a backlash from Google through using backlinks, I started anew on a different website and learned that the best way to gain good SEO results was through producing good content on a regular basis.

While this is the classic and hard road to get good SEO results, it still remains the best. As for backlinking, the only good way I learned to do it was just to socially share my site from time to time as well as make videos linking back to them, but in regards to doing it the old way and spamming sites with your link in hopes of getting more backlinks back, forget it.

People may not like to hear this cold truth about SEO, but having written now well over 700 articles for THIS site alone, I can confirm that this approach to building up your site is the right one and further more it is the one which will not have you worried about the next potential Google slap coming your way if you were to use something black hat like backlinks.

Final Rating: Rank Cipher.

Red Flag

1 out of 10 stars. There’s nothing more to add. Whether or not this program is active is irrelevant. What is relevant is the way that it used backlinks were a one way ticket to Google slapville.

My final thoughts: Frustrated with SEO? Then do this…

While the idea of constant content production is the best tip for SEO that I can provide, it is extremely broad. You still need to do things such as keyword and niche research and know how to write good content. When you have that figured out, then you need to be patient and work hard at it to achieve good results.

I’ve been doing SEO for years and the times I’ve failed in it was when I used backlinks and/or didn’t follow with the exact same tips I just gave you above.

To make sure you execute these tips correctly, there is no better program for teaching you this stuff than Wealthy Affiliate, my absolute top training program for SEO:

It is highly recommended to ANYONE, beginner or otherwise who is entering the world of SEO and/or has struggled in it before or is currently. Don’t fall for programs like Rank Cipher in the future guys, those promises of quick rankings are a trick…
