E-Profit Academy is honestly not what I though it was. I figured it would be some training to learn how to make money online and it turned out to be something different.
Is it a scam? In my opinion yes and the reason being is I have prior experiences with programs like these and I didn’t turn out to be a happy customer.
E-Profit Academy in a nutshell:
From what I’ve seen, it is just a referral site to connect you to paid online surveys (run folks, run!). I believe the site itself is an affiliate program that tries to get you to sign up to different sites that supposedly pay you take online surveys with them.
If this is not the case, then what you need to know is that signing up to the program is free, but then you’re going to be asked to pay to gain access into the site itself. When I clicked the back button, I was offered a “discount” for $17. I still decided not to go through with it because I’ve had experiences with these things before. More on that coming up…
How I stumbled upon E-Profit Academy:
I originally found this site by typing in E-Profit Academy into the search engine. I found a lot of reviews and one of the sites took me to what I assume is the official E-Profit Academy website.
However the domain name was different which made me wonder if I was in the right place to begin with. I took a screenshot of the site to show you what I mean.
Whether or not this website is connected to E-Profit Academy, I’m not sure, but if the original site took me there, I assume it is. Anyway, there was a sign up form on this new page and it said that I could make a lot of money filling out simple forms and that big companies are paying tons of money to do market research.
Long story short, I heard this stuff before, but for the sake of experiment, I decided to sign up thinking I would get in for free. Oh how foolish of me to be so naive.
Luckily my past experiences have taught me to always use a non-primary email when signing up to questionable places like this, just in case something goes wrong.
Signing up ended up taking me to a sales page pitching the idea of making money through writing up surveys. Right off the bat I knew I was on a sale’s page. So as I tried getting out of there, it gave me a discount to try and get me to stay. A clever tactic, but it won’t work on me. I decided to leave.
But in the process of exploring this program, I want to tell you about what to truly expect from online surveys in general, since I’ve personally tried them before:
What you need to know about Online Survey sites:
1. I recommend staying far away from ANY survey site that requires you to pay to gain access: When I first became involved with this form of “making money online”, I paid $67 to gain access. Here’s my entire experience with paid online surveys. Long story short, it turned out to be a huge mistake because…
2. The amount of money you make through online surveys is minuscule at best. This promise of being paid $5-$75 or whatever they claim is just nonsense. You get paid VERY small amounts for filling out very long and personal surveys. When I say long, I mean 30 minutes in some cases. And in those situations, you’ll be lucky to get paid even $5. I’ve been there and trust me when I say, it’s NOT worth the time/effort.
When I did online surveys, I registered with about 20-30 different ones then was emailed surveys. Some of these places were actually giving me percentages…of PENNIES. I kid you not.
We’re talking: $0.001. How’s that for a joke? And if that’s not a scam, I don’t know what is.
3. Survey sites in general are not really that profitable to make a supplementary income from. I’ve personally reviewed about 3-4 different sites (not including this one) and in all the cases, including my own experiences, they always pay too little and require too much for you to fill out their forms. If you seriously think devoting hours of work and being paid third world country wages (that’s an optimistic estimate) is fine, then I don’t know what else to tell you.
Pros:
- I can’t find any benefits of trying this program.
Cons:
- This is really an online survey site.
- Online surveys pay you VERY little.
- You have to pay to gain access to these surveys. Never pay to get access to this!
Final Rating: E-Profit Academy
Red Flag
1 star out of 10. You’ll make very little at best and it’s not worth the effort. If you’re looking for real opportunities, here is my #1 recommendation, Wealthy Affiliate.
My Final Thoughts:
As I said before, my prior experiences with online surveys wasn’t even close to decent. And the fact that this particular program actually tries to get you to pay for access is a VERY bad sign in my book. Out of all the survey sites I’ve checked out, only Survey Say is OK in the sense that they really do give you free access, but still the amount you get paid is bread crumbs.
Many of these survey sites always preach easy money for doing simple things, but it’s really just a sale’s pitch to get you in so they can make money. I’ve been there as have so many others. In fact if you have a personal story related to online survey sites, I’d love to hear it.
In the end if you’re looking for an honest way to succeed online, there are certainly ways to do it, like Wealthy Affiliate, but the truth is that there is no get rich quick scheme to making it happen, no way, no how. Not without proper guidance and effort will this ever happen and any company/program which promises you fast/easy results is lying to you. I learned this the hard way after being in this business for over 8 years. Don’t make my mistakes.
