Now creating an online business isn’t scary at all. In fact, it’s fun and you can do it on your own time. The end result through the training at WA is that by building your online business, you can earn enough money to either:

- Have more free time to yourself.

And basically get to do the things you want in your life and not be held down by anyone. In short: Financial freedom. As I said earlier, I do this full time. How Wealthy Affiliate works:
There is a lot of training within WA that teaches you various ways to make money online. All the way from A-Z. But if you’re completely new, the best way to start is through their Getting Started section. This takes you through the meat & potatoes of building an online business from scratch (preview coming up!).
Even if you have NO idea about what you want to build an online business out of, the training will show an optional path you can take in which you learn to make money in a specific market.
Long story short: Begin with the “Training” section. Click it and it will take you to the “Getting Started” training. This will guide you through everything and answer all of your questions. Here is how the training section looks:

How the training helps you make money online:
The training is broken down into 4 different parts. Each part has step-by-step lessons which you’ll follow. They are all focused on building a profitable online business. Here’s how it works:
1) Choose an interest (niche):
This is the starting point. While it can be anything you want, it is recommended to pick a topic that you personally have interest in (and I will help you with this personally, just join here, go through the tour and I’ll contact you).
When I began doing online marketing with WA, I chose the diet & fitness topic because I have personal experience & interest with.
2) Make a website:
With WA, you don’t need any experience in making websites. They actually give you 2 free websites which are yours to do with as you please. The sites are pre-built and coded so you don’t need to worry about anything. You just select a name for the website & how you want it to look. The process takes less than 30 seconds (I’ve timed it).
Note: The key is to use the training from WA and apply it to the free websites you’re given.
3) Get visitors:
In order to make money online, your website needs to get traffic (visitors). The more you get, the more money you can make. Through WA’s training, you’ll learn how to get visitors to your website interested in the subject you chose.
4) Make money:
You’ll promote products on your site and when visitors come and buy, you earn money.
Example:
- For step 1, I chose teaching dogs tricks as a subject.
- For step 2, I’d make a website focused on that subject.
- For step 3, I’d get visitors to my site interested in this topic.
- For step 4 (the money part), I could promote products from other places like Amazon (books, training DVDs, dog training accessories, etc…) and earn money every time a visitor purchased these things from my site.
There are literally millions of different subjects to choose from to earn money with. Each subject has a large amount of people interested in it who look for information on it on a daily basis.
By having a website with that information on it, you can leverage this and earn money in the process. This is exactly what WA will teach you to do, even if you have no prior experience with this stuff. The amount you can make is really limitless.
My personal results applying the 4 steps on one of my websites:
I’m still growing the same site and it’s traffic. Furthermore, I’ve made other sites using the exact same steps and they are also getting 1,000’s in traffic every single day (and sales). This formula can be replicated in ANY niche topic.
Very important: This is a process and not a get rich quick scheme. But the lessons are very simple to follow. Each lesson is in video/text format and has a “to do” list at the end. As a starter member (which is free), you get access to the first 10 lessons of this training. By the time you finish it, you will have:
- Chosen your topic.
- Created your website.
- Established the foundations necessary to start getting visitors & earn money.
This place is all about TAKING action as you go through each lesson. You’re not going to be reading/watching tutorials and nodding your head. You’re actually going to be putting what is being taught into action.

How long does it take to see results?
If you put what is taught into action, you can start seeing results within a few weeks. I’ve tried WA’s approach to online business on various sites. With ones with less competition, a few weeks is usually when you start seeing results. They aren’t big (at first), but it’s a starting point that only grows. With more competitive niches, typically 3-6 months.
Are there faster ways to see results? Yes & no. Most programs which promise fast results use shady methods of marketing which only work in the short run and then your site gets penalized by Google & other search engines. What is taught at WA is completely straight forward and focused on long term results. The BEST thing you can do to see the fastest possible results is work at it everyday.
Do what is taught in the training and apply it on a daily basis. This will bring about results the fastest way possible, but focus less on making money and more so building a business. There’s a BIG difference.
So if you’re here to make make a quick buck, I’m sorry to disappoint you, but that’s not happening. Not with WA & not with any other program out there. And any place which promises you this is a scam. Take it from someone whose stepped on that rake MANY times. My advice on where to begin:
There’s obviously a lot of benefits with premium and certainly Premium Plus, but my advice is to try the starter membership (which is free) and see if you enjoy what you learn. If you do and want to go further, then I’d recommend the Premium membership.

Hey, I just wanted to come pop by after I started my training over at WA. Right from the start the welcome feeling of the community is unlike any I have ever seen. If you have been to other private facebook groups and things of that nature you know what I mean(people just joining to get you into their funnels and groups and profit off you). But here it is truly a foundation of members built off the premise of “Pay-it-forward” Each one of the members started at the same place as the new guy(or gal) and they got help from someone steps above them, now they pass that knowledge and experience on to you when you join.
Along with that is world class training videos that break everything down into tiny bite size chunks that make you feel accomplished even if you can only work at it for 20-30 minutes because you work a full time job. Slowly, but surely if you work your way through the training you will find all the answers you are looking for to run an online business.
I am about 2 weeks into my training and I already have a website built, my Niche selected, and all the WordPress plugins ready to make my website google-friendly. Creating a long lasting and sustainable business such as the one taught here is a long tedious project. I had seen Wealthy Affiliate around for quite a while and finally decided to pull the trigger. Boy was I blown away! I’m completely new to the platform and have just barely scratched the surface but the experience has been nothing short of unbelievable.
I have never seen a more supportive, helpful and involved community anywhere out there and I have joined a ton of programs. I really was so pleasantly surprised.

I like what I read. However I am a victim of PWA. I tried for 5 months. Spent $875, and only got 3 contacts and made $0, from him. Now I’m trying to cancel the programs, and wouldn’t you know. There is no cancel option on his pages. You have to send an email or change your card, while you can.
Hi Tracey, I’m sorry to hear that. I can’t comment on the PWA experience since there are always 2 sides, but I can tell you that anytime you have a situation where you have charges you don’t approve of or are trying to get your money back but it’s not possible with the vendor, disputing the charge with your credit card and/or bank is the way to go. This should be your decision to make what you said is the exact same thing I’d say if you decide to do this.

Really appreciate your referral to Wealthy Affiliate (WA). I have nearly 30 years in the professional IT industry and this has been the easiest web authoring and hosting platform I have encountered.
I also really like the integrated domains feature with the privacy included and the SSL cert for free. Very impressive, and no mucking around here.
My WordPress skills are way out of date so for me this was really a WordPress course, but the marketing side of this is, it turns out, even more invaluable.
I found the site through some research on honesty and integrity where I found this site.
The SEO module in use looks really good, so much better than old school in that regard, and the speed and ease of the hosting, including transferring word press sites and the free hosting / staging area.
Besides Kyle, Carson and all the people at WA have been fantastic. The response times are amazing, I’ve not experienced anything quite like this before.

So I’m kind of confused. I dont understand how you promote other people’s products? Like are you contacting these individual companies/sellers of these products and asking to work something out where you promote their products for a commission. I guess I just dont really understand the whole product promotion aspect of this. Can anyone help explain this?
Hi Jessica, so let me clarify how this works:
1) You want to promote a product you don’t own (other people’s stuff).
2) You reach out to them directly or the company and if there is an affiliate program available, fill out a form showing your site and other info.
3) They check the information you provide and if you get approved, give you access to their program to promote their products.
4) You go into the company website, find a product you want to promote, click get link and it provides you with a UNIQUE affiliate link.
5) That unique affiliate link is what you insert into your blogs, videos and promotions.

I was looking into WA and it looks great but i’m a little skeptical as I have lost so much before. However, I see it is free but you have to pay to really get the support and help needed to really make it work. 7 days isn’t long enough to really get it.
I guess my question is, How do you make money on a website when you don’t have products laying around that you can sell and you don’t blog or anything like that.
Any help would be tremendous.

Hi Bobbie, so just a clarification. The only thing that ends after 7 days is the live chat and the ability to get my coaching. You can still get access to the site and starter training after that period.
Regarding your question, you learn affiliate marketing in WA which means you promote products you don’t have from companies that do have them and pay you once you sell them.

Hello Vitaliy, I would like to promote an MLM, as well as a kitchen design business and have spent thousands of dollars on courses to become an affiliate marketer, with no luck.
So, I have a few questions, but it’s also been a couple of years, so please excuse my ignorance if they don’t make sense:
1) What year were all of these training sessions created?
2) Are there a lot of extra programs to purchase each month such as Click funnels, lead pages, etc.?
3) How much extra per month would those be? If so, would the coach be able to help me connect less expensive programs if I choose to purchase them on my own?
4) Is there a minimum commitment or can I pay month by month?
5) I just paid for a 3 year hosting for a website I’m beginning to create. Are the websites from WA built to work with WA products? Or, can I design my 2 websites and they would “still work” if I leave WA?
6) Does WA offer coaching ONLY as an option?

Hi Anne, these are all awesome questions, and here is what I can tell you:
1) I don’t know for sure, but they are updated and we are getting a massive improvement coming August to everything, including even more up to date training than there already is.
2) Not at all. In fact, I don’t like programs that make the pitch the program names you listed an upsell. I think it’s deceptive to push people to buy those programs even though they are legit and do NOT recommend them until you personally decide to do it. They are really for advanced online marketers, and totally optional (don’t let anyone tell you they are mandatory, because the truth is, they are just trying to make commissions off you to buy them).
In WA, we teach you to build a business with a website (through affiliate marketing and more), a keyword tool and domain and hosting. Everything outside of that (email marketing, clickfunnels, paid ads) is something you will decide to purchase on your own in the future and I honestly don’t even use these services because I don’t think you need them and you will NOT be pitched them inside WA. We do things legitimately.
3) Nothing since we don’t pitch them. You are encouraged to buy your own domain and use the WA keyword tool as well as the premium service, so the prices for that are $13.99 a year for the domain, the keyword tool is like $20 a month and the premium service is $49 a month, and hosting is included there for your domain. But of course, ALL of this is optional for you to get and you can get a nice tour and value out of the free training first before making this decision.
4) You can pay month by month if you like or go for a yearly membership, but there is no commitment outside of that for the membership.
5) You can probably use your existing site from your other service with WA, but without seeing it myself, I couldn’t really give you a specific answer here. I do encourage anyone who joins Wealthy Affiliate with an existing site to start a new one, because many people who join WA who have tried this before (and weren’t happy) had a website that would take double the work to fix, then to implement the training, so I encourage people to start fresh basically.
But that’s totally up to you and I could help you further within WA with my coaching if you’d like, just join Wealthy Affiliate here and you’ll be able to get it for 7 days free, and anything after would be a premium thing.
6) We offer WAY more than coaching. I offer it to help people personally in addition to all the other great benefits, and here are some of the many available:

I am completely new to online business and I happened to come across a webinar on internet marketing in Facebook. I joined the virtual workshop in mid-June and gained more insight. I came across Wealthy Affiliate when I was searching reviews on a dropshipping course. I had no idea what it was and I was interested in starting a dropshipping/ecommerce business.
My main concerns with a dropshipping business were the delivery times due to the current situation. I did not want to start a business knowing that I will have unhappy customers right from the get go! So I stumbled upon a review Vitaliy wrote and that led me to discover Wealthy Affiliate. Who would have thought?
When I tried to research more about WA, I honestly could not find anything negative and the best part was that they were offering free training PLUS I would get to make a website for FREE!

I am somewhat interested, but I would like to see some of your websites that you have created through WA before I decide if this is for me or not. All I see online are people making money promoting WA, which is great, but I want to see what WA has to offer through the eyes of an affiliate of WA. I want to see their websites, blogs and see how they promote products through WA.
Hi Bryan, this is a fair question and I can tell you 2 things to answer it:
1) People do make their own websites that don’t promote WA which make them money, but even if you see their site, you wouldn’t think it’s a site that was made by the WA training unless they say it. Also people keep their stuff private.
2) I actually share some of my other sites that don’t promote WA on this very website. If you click on my case studies tab above, you will see several examples, including sites I made on dieting, drones, mud running, dating, and so on. They all made money for me by following the WA training principals. I just focus more on promoting WA now because I really love the program and it’s better to focus on one project vs several in this business when time is short.

I joined Wealthy Affiliate 9 short days ago, just 1 day after joining a similar affiliate program.
My plan was to try both programs for a 14-day trial period to see which one was better and aligned more with my personal goals. After only 4 days, I canceled “the other” affiliate program, and have since spent 100% of my time focused on Wealthy Affiliate. The amount of training, community engagement, and support wasn’t even close when comparing the two programs.
The training at WA is unrivaled by any other programs that I have seen online. The willingness of the community members to offer advice and support is both astounding and encouraging. These two items alone are worth any amount of small investment you may need to incur to become a premium Member (which by the way, I strongly encourage).

I stumbled upon Wealthy Affiliate through Vitaliy’s review of a different product I was looking to buy.
What initially caught my eye was how he was describing in great detail a product review I was considering buying but how well he spoke of WA. I had never heard of it before and was intrigued.

I absolutely love WA. I found it months ago and got away from it, then found it again and tried to sign up and didn’t realize I had an account already! I logged in and upgraded to the premium version. WA brings together all of my experiences together in one place.
I already had several websites on Wix.com anyway. Now maybe I can host them all with WA. As a photographer with a Journalism degree, WA is a perfect outlet for me. I can’t wait to go through all of the courses. I have learned so much already and would recommend it to anyone.

I recently joined as a premium member. The courses are easy to understand and I’m building my first affiliate site.
A little backstory related to WA. I joined as a free member two years ago and did nothing. I never received any pressure, only a few e-mails offering help to get going.
Recently while googling brain health supplements (I own a supplement business), I landed on a review site and noticed that the publisher was making over $10,000 per month as a WA affiliate! I remembered that I had signed up with WA and that same day I upgraded my WA membership to premium and dived in on the courses. Within hours, I was building my first website and I’m in no way a computer type guy.
What I’ve found out over the past two weeks is that the WA website is top-notch, the members are helpful and constantly encouraging one another. The courses are easy to understand and implement and you, yourself, have shown a sincere interest in my success.
I look forward to building several affiliate sites on the WA platform. It’s fun and I’m learning a lot and I’m confident that I’ll soon be making a substantial income as a WA affiliate if I put in the effort (which actually isn’t that much).

Hi Rodney, the quick answer is yes, but there’s a few options available, and all of them are positive. Let me explain…
1) Firstly, if you wish to grow any of your existing sites with Wealthy Affiliate’s help, you will 100% be able to do that by taking their training and putting it into practice with your sites.
2) If you become a premium member, you’ll be able to transfer your existing domain and even hosting to Wealthy Affiliate. Now this is optional, but there are many benefits to the hosting and domain support available in WA, some of which include very good support, security for your site and tools that speed up and improve your site’s quality to make it do better overall.
If you’re already paying for these services outside of WA, consolidating them into the WA system would save you a lot of money.
For example, before I transferred my sites to WA, I was buying domains and hosting at GoDaddy and their prices kept rising every year, but WA’s prices stay the same, so transferring my domains and hosting to WA has and continues to save me a lot of money, all whilst providing me with even better quality hosting and overall services.
So these are options to consider, but like I said, they are all very positive.

I have evaluated some other affiliate marketing courses and listened to hours of videos with people promising things and I realized that everybody was keen on getting my business.
I joined the Wealthy Affiliate’s premium membership because after watching so many free study material in the free membership, I realized that I needed more. WA is affordable and I am not sorry for one minute that I joined.
Kyle has made the training easy to follow and I can practice on my own website. I am enjoying the training and am learning so much. The best thing about WA is the tons of support I got when I asked a question. The answers came from people that know the industry and have done it for years.
Hi Tania! One thing about Wealthy Affiliate I didn’t mention on this review page is that there is a scoring and credit system within it that encourages members to help one another. This is one of the reasons why you received so much support and answers when you asked your question/s.

Hey guys. I’ve been active on WA for a week now and I have to say that I am very pleased with it. I had been looking around the web for affiliate marketing opportunities for a while and am very thankful to have came across WA from a YouTube video.
I went premium after only 2 days of the free membership and I don’t regret it. The community is very positive, helpful, and friendly and the training program is exactly what I’ve been looking for. WA has taken the time to create many very helpful tools that make the process much more effective and time efficient and the monthly cost is very reasonable when you look at the amount of value you’re actually getting.
All around, again, I am very pleased and I encourage anyone interested in affiliate marketing to give WA a chance.

The information in WA is tremendous, and the support by any number of people with any kind of expertise you can think of, and many you CAN’T think of is invaluable.
Unlike other “money-making” sites I’ve been on there’s nothing like telling you that you can get a program for a few dollars, but to get the good stuff that was claimed, you must pay for another 2 or 3 levels, usually ending up at about $1,000, and then only to find out that it’s idiocy on top of foolishness.
That’s OTHER programs, definitely not Wealthy Affiliate!
Also, it’s much more realistic in WA since it DOES take time to develop knowledge so that you can make an effective, long-lasting business with a future, not just a flash-in-the-pan “good idea” like everywhere else I’ve seen to date.
Hi Ted, you bring up many good points about present experiences MANY people face in learning this business and that is that there are many schemes out there which usually do that annoying upsell thing to hit you with high costs as soon as they can.
Wealthy Affiliate has been against this sort of policy from day 1 and they have been around since before these other programs started sprouting and even after they are gone, WA will remain because it’s been legitimate since day 1 and has only improved.

Hi Barry not all, but MOST yes. The income reports you saw above are commissions MAINLY. I do however also run a few other sites and make sales with them as well as 2 sites that run ads on the page, and pay me for that. But I don’t really work much on those because I’m busy with bigger ones and thus the sales from those other sites aren’t nearly as high.

Thanks for posting the link to WA (Wealthy Affiliate) in the SFM posts. I was following the link and I was excited!
The content at WA is really great and rich. Even in the free membership, I could learn a lot more than I could imagine to get for free elsewhere. The training about creating a website, selecting the right Keywords and targeting them and the definition of a own niche were great so far and the tools WA is offering for content management, keyword search via Jaaxy included in the free membership was great.
I am convinced to start my own online business quite soon and so I’ve committed to switching to premium some days ago. The training offered here in premium is marvelous and I’m looking forward to get my first webpage up and running.
Beside the training the community is a great asset as its feels like family, with support from the very beginning. Getting help and answers from all the experienced people and learning from successors with the willingness to share and support all newbies like me is really superb and I’ve never seen that before.
Kyle and Carson’s videos are also at the top level too and the way they slice the content into pieces that could easily be digested is great.

Before finding Wealthy Affiliate, I had joined another online entrepreneurship website, which started me of with paying a certain amount at different stages, but all I got was a lot of videos to listen to.
There was no training which I found valuable to be honest, if anything I was bored, but regardless of the boredom I still signed up to the Essentials level. As the days went by, I didn’t know what I was learning.
I therefore turned to web search and came along to Vitaliy’s review. I found it really honest. I therefore started on the free trial at Wealthy Affiliate and found that I had an actual support network to help me. I also had a lot of people offering to help me, as well as adding me to their network.
Vitaliy was very supportive as my personal coach and encouraged me, as did Kyle and Carson.
So far I have finished the first stage and actually learned how to build a website! I have a long way to go but I am learning a lot and I would recommend WA to anyone.
There are only 2 options to choose from, starter and Premium (which I have joined within a few days).

I too have joined WA after reading Vitaliy’s review. To be honest, I wasn’t planning on spending money to upgrade to the premium option, but after completing the first free level of training, I saw how much potential the rest of the course will have.
Now I’m a premium member and I’m about half way through the training. So far, no regrets. The training is very detailed, plus there are a bunch of active users that will answer any questions you have. Even the CEO of WA and Vitaliy are still active in the course and will help you out.
Nowadays you have to pay a ridiculous price just to learn about affiliate marketing but WA lets you try for free first so I would highly recommend you guys to check out this course. I’m sure you guys would like it like I am right now.

I held off leaving a comment here for a few months since joining, I really wanted to get a feel for WA first to leave an honest opinion. Firstly if you are thinking of joining Wealthy Affiliate but unsure – my advice is to just do it.
It’s free, you don’t need to enter any payment details etc. With the starter membership you can try out the first Phase of video tutorials, speak to fellow members, ask questions, navigate around the site etc.
It’s fine to stay with the Starter membership, but if you choose to learn more then sign up for Premium. Considering what WA has to offer such as hosting, training, support it really doesn’t cost a lot and you can cancel the membership any time.
My only negative experience is some of the training material is a little out of date since technology moves so quickly, but for each lesson many other members will have already asked the questions that you have and there will usually be an answer for it.
Otherwise just drop Vitaliy a private message and he’ll advise you.

After being laid off on 12/31/18 from a job of 11 years and not getting another one as quickly as I expected, I have been searching the internet for ways to make money online. I watched countless YouTube videos and read numerous articles about it.
I even signed up with a few, but they were not what I expected. Some things are not for everyone.
Maybe I could have made some money doing surveys if I could get qualified for more of them, but it is hard work and I got discouraged after spending too much time doing them and then told I was not qualified.
I read several articles about Wealthy Affiliate, and was going to sign up, but I did not want to waste any more time doing something that might not work out.
So, I decided to look at another review and I saw your blog. While the others gave a good overview of the program, you provided so much more information that helped me to move forward with trying it.
I have no regrets; I am learning so much.
When I saw what Premium had to offer compared to the starter program, I quickly signed up for Premium, because I liked what I saw and believe that I can achieve something at Wealthy Affiliate.
The training in indescribable, as there is so much to learn and you can actually see results as you go through the training. The people are so friendly and helpful, it is truly a community. After being there for such a short time, I could say so much more.

Hi Martin, you will have all of this and more with Wealthy Affiliate. The business they will teach you to create (your online business site) will be able to promote from a multitude of affiliate networks. In my case, I promote things from Clickbank, Wealthy Affiliate, Amazon and other big places. There’s a lot of opportunity to promote anything online and they’ll show you how to get all of this done right.
