Wealthy Affiliate Review 2024: Why it’s my #1 Recommendation For Helping You Make Real Money Online

Many years ago I joined a program called Wealthy Affiliate to learn how to make money online and in addition to actually teaching me that, it also became my #1 recommended program for anyone with the same goal. This review will detail how that all works and I will also show my income reports, plus those of many other members too.

Quick Report:

how to make honest money online wealthy affiliate review 03

  • Name: Wealthy Affiliate University by Kyle & Carson.
  • Price: $0 starter program (Click here to join for free). Premium program $49 a month. Also Premium Plus program $99 a month.
  • Ideal for: Complete beginners-advanced.
  • Does it work? Yes, I will provide you with MY personal income stats (and show you other success stories below).
  • Final Rating: 10 out of 10 stars (Green flag & the only program I’ve ever rated this high).
  • Update to review: Added 2023 income results (see below).

Why Wealthy Affiliate is my #1 recommendation for making money online:

Call me bias if you want, but after reviewing/trying over 200 different programs over many years that all promise riches online and nearly all of them being scams/garbage, the only program that still continues to deliver REAL results for me is Wealthy Affiliate.

It is my #1 recommendation for helping you TRULY make honest money online, especially if you are a beginner. In fact, here’s a full/updated review I made for 2024 regarding this program and why I love it (in case you don’t want to read the entire article):

Note: If you still want to learn more about the WA program, you’re more than welcome to read the remainder of this review, but there are areas of it that are a bit outdated (the video above is the most updated review of the program). If you have questions you’re more than welcome to reach out to me below!

5 reasons I recommend WA to ANYONE who wants to succeed at making money online:

Reason #1: It’s free to join.

No CC, no personal info, no risk. See for yourself.

Reason #2: The support is amazing.

You get 24-7 help if you need it, including from it’s creators who are millionaire marketers. Through the many programs I’ve tried, lack of support has been a huge deal breaker. Most places rarely answer your questions or give you the right guidance. With WA, the support is second to none.

Having someone to help you is absolutely vital to success online. You can and will have questions and when that happens, you will need someone who will be qualified to answer them. And this is where the amazing support comes into play:

  • In WA, you can ask/post any questions which will get answered almost immediately.
  • There is also an online chat available 24-7 where there are always members around who are actively helping other members (including myself).
  • And in addition to this, you also get my personal help (one of the bonuses of joining), for free.

Join WA for free here and get access to the amazing help & support to succeed online.

Reason #3: It’s really a 1 stop destination for becoming successful online.

Too often I see people searching for the “next best thing” in making money online whether it be expensive training or just hopelessly bouncing from product to product looking at it like a lottery ticket. This is WRONG and only leads to failure.

The secret to making money online is this: Proper guidance. This is exactly what you get in WA and there’s no reason to find something elsewhere, because what you learn within WA is up to date and legitimate. Most importantly, it works.

Reason #4: Legitimacy.

It teaches you honest ways to make money online via helping people while doing what you love. It really comes down to these 4 steps.

Reason #5: I have personally been with WA for over 12 years so I personally vouch for them.

You can consider me one of their many success stories (see real reviews from other members below). It is through their training and guidance that I was able to experience my first success online and now, it is a full time thing for me (income proof is coming up shortly).

Prior to finding them, I went through a very bad cycle of scams/failures online which lasted nearly 3 years. Today I do online marketing full time and earn money from home. I attribute the success to the training I got here. If I can do it, you can too. And with that said…

What is Wealthy Affiliate?

In short, Wealthy Affiliate is a training program that teaches you to build an online business. This could be based on a personal interest/hobby/passion/expertise you have or if it’s none of these, they show you exactly what you need to do in order to make consistent money online.

Now creating an online business isn’t scary at all. In fact, it’s fun and you can do it on your own time. The end result through the training at WA is that by building your online business, you can earn enough money to either:

  • Quit your job.
  • Supplement your current income.
  • Have more free time to yourself.
  • Spend more time with your family.

And basically get to do the things you want in your life and not be held down by anyone. In short: Financial freedom. As I said earlier, I do this full time. I’ve experienced 6 figure results implementing what they teach. Though how much you can earn varies, one thing I can promise you is that if you implement what they teach, you will get results.

Am I earning real money through Wealthy Affiliate’s training? I totally am! Here are my income reports:

I work as a middleman (affiliate) for multiple companies and am actively making an income from 2. Altogether, I make over $4,000 a month:

2015 income report:

Update 5/29/16: A 2015-2016 year update. The income has increased.

waincomeupdate

The original income picture you saw was recorded up until August of 2015. The current one was taken from that period up until May of 2016. As you can see, the income I get from those same affiliate programs has increased:

  • The first one is averaging over $5,000 a month when it was originally $4,000.
  • The other is actually making twice as much as before. From $200+ to over $400.

And I also have a 2017 report for you guys (I update this page every year):

I wanted to show you these pictures to point out that with an online business that you learn to create from WA, you will be learning how to create a truly stable income that if you keep working on, will increase.

And the updated 2018 & a little bit of 2019 report:

How Wealthy Affiliate works:

There is a lot of training within WA that teaches you various ways to make money online. All the way from A-Z. But if you’re completely new, the best way to start is through their Getting Started section. This takes you through the meat & potatoes of building an online business from scratch (preview coming up!).

Even if you have NO idea about what you want to build an online business out of, the training will show an optional path you can take in which you learn to make money in a specific market.

Long story short: Begin with the “Training” section. Click it and it will take you to the “Getting Started” training. This will guide you through everything and answer all of your questions. Here is how the training section looks:

wa training

And once you click the “View Course” button, here’s a preview of the first 10 lessons (Level 1):

wealthy affiliate training preview

How the training helps you make money online:

The training is broken down into 4 different parts. Each part has step-by-step lessons which you’ll follow. They are all focused on building a profitable online business. Here’s how it works:

1) Choose an interest (niche):

This is the starting point. While it can be anything you want, it is recommended to pick a topic that you personally have interest in (and I will help you with this personally, just join here, go through the tour and I’ll contact you).

When I began doing online marketing with WA, I chose the diet & fitness topic because I have personal experience & interest with.

2) Make a website:

With WA, you don’t need any experience in making websites. They actually give you 2 free websites which are yours to do with as you please. The sites are pre-built and coded so you don’t need to worry about anything. You just select a name for the website & how you want it to look. The process takes less than 30 seconds (I’ve timed it).

Note:  The key is to use the training from WA and apply it to the free websites you’re given.

3) Get visitors:

In order to make money online, your website needs to get traffic (visitors). The more you get, the more money you can make. Through WA’s training, you’ll learn how to get visitors to your website interested in the subject you chose.

4) Make money:

You’ll promote products on your site and when visitors come and buy, you earn money.

Example:

  • For step 1, I chose teaching dogs tricks as a subject.
  • For step 2, I’d make a website focused on that subject.
  • For step 3, I’d get visitors to my site interested in this topic.
  • For step 4 (the money part), I could promote products from other places like Amazon (books, training DVDs, dog training accessories, etc…) and earn money every time a visitor purchased these things from my site.

There are literally millions of different subjects to choose from to earn money with. Each subject has a large amount of people interested in it who look for information on it on a daily basis.

By having a website with that information on it, you can leverage this and earn money in the process. This is exactly what WA will teach you to do, even if you have no prior experience with this stuff. The amount you can make is really limitless.

My personal results applying the 4 steps on one of my websites:

wa traffic update mid 2023

I’m still growing the same site and it’s traffic. Furthermore, I’ve made other sites using the exact same steps and they are also getting 1,000’s in traffic every single day (and sales). This formula can be replicated in ANY niche topic.

Very important: This is a process and not a get rich quick scheme. But the lessons are very simple to follow. Each lesson is in video/text format and has a “to do” list at the end. As a starter member (which is free), you get access to the first 10 lessons of this training. By the time you finish it, you will have:

  • Chosen your topic.
  • Created your website.
  • Established the foundations necessary to start getting visitors & earn money.

This place is all about TAKING action as you go through each lesson. You’re not going to be reading/watching tutorials and nodding your head. You’re actually going to be putting what is being taught into action.

The training itself will take you across the A-Z of online marketing. By the time you finish it, you will be an advanced internet marketer and in many cases already running a sustainable online business that’s earning you money. It can be supplementary or even primary like in my case.

Niche topics I’ve personally made money with thanks to Wealthy Affiliate:

  • Making money online.
  • Weight loss.
  • Dieting.
  • Selling fitness equipment.
  • Selling women’s fitness DVDs.

How long does it take to see results?

If you put what is taught into action, you can start seeing results within a few weeks. I’ve tried WA’s approach to online business on various sites. With ones with less competition, a few weeks is usually when you start seeing results. They aren’t big (at first), but it’s a starting point that only grows. With more competitive niches, typically 3-6 months.

Are there faster ways to see results? Yes & no. Most programs which promise fast results use shady methods of marketing which only work in the short run and then your site gets penalized by Google & other search engines. What is taught at WA is completely straight forward and focused on long term results. The BEST thing you can do to see the fastest possible results is work at it everyday.

Do what is taught in the training and apply it on a daily basis. This will bring about results the fastest way possible, but focus less on making money and more so building a business. There’s a BIG difference.

So if you’re here to make make a quick buck, I’m sorry to disappoint you, but that’s not happening. Not with WA & not with any other program out there. And any place which promises you this is a scam. Take it from someone whose stepped on that rake MANY times. There are people making 4, 5, 6 and even 7 figure incomes doing this stuff and they’ve reached this point because they followed through the training.

  • WA also features a Premium Membership that’s available for $49 a month.
  • Additionally, there is also a Premium Plus membership that’s available for $99 a month.

Free membership (Starter) vs Premium vs Premium Plus:

Starter: Starter members (free) get access to communicate with the community, including Kyle and Carson (both for 7 days), get 1 free website and also access to the Level 1 training.

Premium: I very often get asked about the premium membership and want to explain it here. It’s optional, costs $49/month, but it provides access to everything within WA including:

  • 24-7, 365 support. To myself, every member and the founders. You get this as a starter for the first 7 days.
  • You can make up to 25 free websites.
  • Free hosting for up to 25 of your own websites.
  • Weekly webinars covering all aspects of making money online to further help you. There’s over 300.
  • 1 on 1 coaching & support from WA’s creators, Kyle & Carson.
  • Access to 100’s of training tutorials.

Premium Plus: This is an entirely new layer of Wealthy Affiliate and is without a doubt the membership with the most benefits. Rather than list them all in bullet points, I have a screenshot of everything that you get from ALL 3 of these memberships so you can see it yourself.

Here is a comparison of the benefits of each membership level:

membership levels wa

My advice on where to begin:

There’s obviously a lot of benefits with premium and certainly Premium Plus, but my advice is to try the starter membership (which is free) and see if you enjoy what you learn. If you do and want to go further, then I’d recommend the Premium membership.

No one is ever pushed into premium. It’s all a matter of if you feel comfortable. Only try premium if you’re happy with WA. It is optional and you are welcome to stay as a free member as long as you like 🙂

Wealthy Affiliate’s Pros & Cons:

Pros:

  • Provides all forms & levels of internet marketing training.
  • Simple to follow step-by-step training with tutorials and videos.
  • Very newbie friendly.
  • Provides excellent support.
  • Gives you 2 free websites.
  • Costs $0 to join (no funny business, no risk). Join here.
  • Gives you access to top level internet marketers and support.
  • 24-7 online chat if you have any questions.
  • One of the few places where you learn to make money legitimately.
  • This is the most ethical program I have ever come across.

Cons:

  • Possible information overload usually happens for first timers, but this vanishes quickly.

Final Rating: Wealthy Affiliate.

Green Light (My #1 recommendation).

10 out of 10 stars. Highest rated program I’ve ever tried and made money from. It’s legitimate, beginner friendly and the support is amazing. This is the program that will make you GOOD money online if you use it.

If you want to succeed online, here’s my BEST advice:

  1. Try the starter membership.
  2. Go through the welcome tour and get started with the training.
  3. I’ll personally contact you in WA after you join.

There are NO risks and if you don’t like what you see, you can leave anytime you want, without being obligated. And even then, you’ll still have 1 website to do with as you please. Furthermore:

Just please just do me 1 favor:

If you like it there, I’d really appreciate it if you come back to this page and comment on your experience. People who want to make money online really need to know about this place. In fact, here is a message I got recently from someone who knows about my coaching and their feedback on it:

wa coaching feedback

My final thoughts:

WA is without a doubt my #1 recommendation for many of the reasons I stated above. If you’re looking to make an extra buck online or perhaps go further and do it full time like me, this is by far the best place to show you exactly how to do it. Join it today.

The key to success is utilizing proper guidance (which WA provides & my coaching adds to) and taking action. With these ingredients, I promise that you will see results. If you have ANY questions about WA or if you’re a current member would like to leave your personal review, you can do so below in the comments section.

  1. Hi Vitaliy;

I recently wrote a comment to you (on 6/23/2015). I honestly thought I would get no response. It was my way of seeing if you and your reviews were legit.

    SUPRISE!! You replied.

Because of that, I’m going to be diving into the WA community as soon as I send this.

Thanks for your honesty. I hope to be seeing you in the WA community very shortly.

  2. Hello there,
I’ve been reading thru several online sites for some time now trying to find what could work for me and my current situation. I have several questions for you but would rather ask you by email as its kind of private. I read thru all your info as well as answers to others posts/questions to see if any of them pertain to my questions but still couldn’t find the answers to what I need. If you could message me I would be very appreciative.
On another note I was just curious what your opinion of the DS domination 2.0 deal is. It intrigued me at first but then I started reading a ton of mixed opinions on it and all that’s happened, that it’s reaching the 2 yr mark, etc.
This would be a totally new endeavor for me. When I started looking for ways to work from home I quickly became frustrated w/all the scammy things out there, makes it so hard for people to find something that is honest, not a ponzi type scheme or something that a total beginner w/no experience in this realm could easily learn.
Anyhow glad I stumbled upon your site it’s been a good read! Look forward to hearing from you.
    Thanx!

    • Hi Lisa, I’m going to email you as you requested, but starting from WA, I think it’s absolutely perfect for you since it’s very good for beginners. You learn online marketing from the real business point of view (no MLM, no ponzi, no pyramid schemes!).

About DS Domination, I tend to have very mixed feelings about it as well and when I reviewed it a long time, I didn’t find it to be necessary for most people. You may find it useful if you need to juggle many different products you’re buying/re-selling, but if I remember, there have been policy changes put in place making it more difficult to use that system. Plus it’s also a specific form of business which is not for everyone, at least not me.

  3. Hi, I’m so interested in this training and learning these steps. I’m just that glad someone is giving guidance to people who are about to be scammed. I almost fell for it on Mitchell’s EDU site. My second mind told me to look it up before I try to purchase anything. Thanks for giving me this info. It’s very appreciated by me, I almost went for the scam. I have a question? Are you able to do this on a Mac Tablet? Or do I need to do it on a PC OR laptop?

    Reply
    • Hi Saye. You can view the lessons and even chat with people through any device including the Mac Tablet (or any tablet), but if you’re going to build your site or do any work on it, a PC and laptop would be ideal.

  4. I have both a PC and a laptop yet I am basically computer illiterate. I have no clue how to use them in conjunction with each other. I know how to turn them on, do minor searches and use e-mail (somewhat). I have NO IDEA how to set up a web site, upload content or get it noticed. I don’t use Twitter, Facebook or any other social media. If you look up “beginner” in the dictionary, my picture is part of the definition. Please tell me the truth…..can WA help me? I have very limited resources and am searching for a way to make some income from home. Thank you, in advance, for your response.

    • Hi Terry, very often we get people joining WA who also have very little experience with computers and the internet and worry this is going to cause a problem. There is always going to be some kind of learning curve, but in WA, everything you are given to learn in the main training includes pictures, videos and text, all of which contains precise instructions on what to press, what to type, and where to do it. It’s very easy to keep up.

Being lost is not something you’ll have to worry about. And any question you will have are always going to be answered by one or more of the helpful members there.

I think you’ll be fine and should give this place a shot. After all, you did type this comment on the site. You’re just not giving yourself enough credit 🙂

  5. Hi Vitaliy

I have enjoyed reading this post and all the comments. Everything sounds real and honest for a change!

I currently have 2 website and I know how much time and effort goes into an online business! I am interested in blogging in a new direction and trying affiliates but I don’t want to try it with my other websites as I like the fact their are no ads or funny things on there.

    Reply
    • When it comes to promoting and doing affiliate work on websites, ads aren’t the only way to go Lynne. You can just hyperlink text to an affiliate offer. Ads get the reputation of being overly promotional, but there are ways to use them so they won’t look that way.

You can have an affiliate business and not look like you’re over selling anything. That’s actually the best option to take in my opinion and WA teaches that too.

  6. Hi Vitaliy, I stumbled upon your blog while job searching. (I was laid off last week.) This does sound like something I might like to pursue. I live in Canada – would this be an issue? Could you please send me a personal email as well. I have a couple of questions. Thanks, Kim

      • Thanks for your quick response. I am still a little unsure as to how this all works but I guess that is what the 7 day training period is for. My passion is cooking and would love to do this for a living and would love to enrol in a Culinary Arts program but cannot afford to go to school full time without an income. I have a daughter in college that I am supporting as well. I am now thinking I could maybe do something with this niche? Or maybe down the road make enough so that I could go to school? Thoughts? Would this be viable?

        Reply
        • Hi Kim, any niche can make you enough money to do these things. Please remember, the 7 days is just for being able to get support, the other things stay forever (including your sites). I know from experience that this business can pay through school. I recommend you try the training, make your site/s and if you have questions, you’ll be able to ask them within the community and get direction on where to go. Obviously, I will also be there to help 🙂

  7. Hi Vitaliy!

Question 1, are you married?? Haha! I’m joking, but I admire your knowledge, customer service, intelligence and prompt, dedicated ethic. I am going to sign up. My best friend for over 20 years is a web designer and we have been talking about partnering up and getting into affiliate marketing. My fears are holding me back, and I am willing to sign up knowing (from what I’ve seen) your dedicated to making our business’ successful. I do property management and I am a single mom, so I cannot go without a 100% guaranteed income, so for now I’ll be doing both. This being my personal priority after the boy is in bed. My question is with the 7 days of training, is it a scheduled training? Do I have to be present on webinars at dedicated times? Are they flexible- Can you email me regarding the training outline specifics? Thank You

    Reply
    • Hi Pamela, thank you for all the positive feedback. With the 7 day thing, it’s not for training, it’s for chat and support. You can access the starter training anytime, even after the 7 days. As for schedules, you can work at any pace you want. There is no expiration on the training and you’ll be able to view it anytime.

I’ve also sent you an email :).

  8. If you sign up for free on one computer can you continue the training and work with your free websites from another? Sometimes I am on a laptop and other times I might be on a desktop.

    Reply
    • Hi Monica, yes you can work on your site/s from any computer. Once you make the sites, you will be given a log in which you can access from ANY computer you want. Also about your mobile device question, I’ll answer it here:

What I meant when I said it’s not a good idea to use mobile devices to work on your site is that it’s very uncomfortable to do it. People should ideally be able to view your website through a mobile device.

  9. Hi Vitaliy. I was about to purchase SimpleSiteBigProfit program from Marcus Campbell, but after a bit of researching on the internet and reading your reviews, I realised I almost got scammed. Then I came to this page. It seems like your answers a very transparent and WA seems like a legit product. I’m thinking of joining. My questions is 1) can I still make money with the free membership and 2 free website? 2) Will there be support for the free membership or do I need to upgrade to premium membership to get support? 3) how long must I go through all the training videos/reading in order to get started?

    Reply
    • Hi Bachus, glad you avoided Simple Site Bit Profits!

      1) For WA, you can make money with the starter membership. The training on that level gets into building the site and business which is the start of it. But to push it further, into getting visitors and making money, content needs to be added to the site again and again. You’re going to have to do a lot of writing on the site and the more you do this, the better your site will become.

      2) There is indeed support available for starter members for the first 7 days. You can use the live chat, post questions and communicate with the owners, and ask any amount of questions you like. This is just all extended with premium.

      3) You really get going right away from lesson 1. The training videos in starter will first explain what you’re going to be building then around lesson 3-4, you’ll build your website.

  10. Hello,
I am going to sign up, however wanted to ask a question. If you do the free membership, then decide to go for the premium membership (within or outside of the 7days) and then later down the track decide to go back to the free option (ie cancel the premium membership part), is that possible?
Also – in regard to getting affiliates (which I have never dealt with), do you have to pay for that?
Thanks (and thank you for your review of this seemingly honest work from home option – haven’t found another out there yet!)

    Reply
    • Hi Rj, I want to comment on your second question first: It’s OK that you’re in Australia. For the Premium back to starter, this is not possible, BUT remember, as a starter, you will always have access to the training on that level and will keep your sites even if you want to leave.

For the affiliate question, it depends:

If you’re an affiliate for a program, you don’t have to pay to become one. The only places that charge you to be an affiliate are MLM programs. WA is not an MLM and neither are places like Amazon so you can promote for it without having to pay.

If you want to be a product creator and create an affiliate program so other people can promote it for you, you can do this yourself by setting up the right coding, but that does cost money or you can join networks like Clickbank where you they do that coding for you, but charge you a small price for every sale. So yes you do have to pay for those.

WA is an honest place and you’re going to be amazed at how awesome it is!

      Reply
      • Thank you.
That’s great to hear I can do from Australia also!!!!
One other thing – is this 7 days free only and after that, no further access??? What is behind the 7 days…..?

        Reply
          • So if I start with the Starter program, then go to Premium, I can’t go back to Starter? The only option I have to stop paying $47 a month is to cancel completely? I will lose my 2 sites? Is this correct?

          • No you keep both sites Aline. 2 starter sites stay with you no matter what you do. But if you upgrade to premium, you cannot go back to starter, although all your progress is saved in WA in case you return.

  11. I’ve just read all the way thru, and I’m favorably impressed, at long last! I’ve been studying Af Marketing for about 2 years, and think this is the way to go.

Now, my understanding at this point is that like most advertising, this is a numbers game. To succeed one has to have a good website that has lots of regular traffic on a regular basis upon which to build a clientele. Am I right here or not???

Next, we need products to sell. How does one get these up on their website so visitors can click on them so I get paid? Question; how do I make sure none of these are scams, etc.? The last thing a newbie needs is bad publicity!

My present idea for a site is to aim at parents of young kids and give UJ’s (Uncle Joe) advice on raising them. Of course I have other ideas. (love politics…) but probably won’t make any money here, so it will have to go on the back burner. Do you think there’s a niche for UJ out there. and if so, how do we go about setting it up and getting started making money? Another idea is advice for travelers on how to find good places to eat, good non-chain hotels, good repairs on the road away from home, packing, what to carry in the car and why, etc.

Plan to spend more time on your site Monday and look into it more thoroughly.

Like what I see, thanks for all the dialog. I’ve had the experience(s) of being ignored.

This is long enough for a first email!

    Joe

    • Hi Joe, here are the answers to your questions:

      1. You are correct about the numbers. The more relevant traffic you get, the more favorable your site will be in making money.
      2. You will have to sign up with one or more affiliate programs to promote the products you want. You will be given affiliate links to put on the site.
      3. This idea can work. In fact, every single idea you mentioned, including the political one can work but it’s better to go through the training and stick with a single niche idea for now.

I’ve got an HTML4 page, would like to have you look at it and see what you think. At the bottom, I have dead buttons (right now) that can be used for other things, and more can be easily added to link up other pages. What I’m thinking of is how to place ads on them, or even if I should have a separate page for them?

Hope you had a great weekend!

        Joe

        • You would have to find an affiliate program, sign up to it. After you do that, you will get personalized links that you will place on your site. Say you place one of those links on a checkout button. If people click on that button and buy, you will automatically be given the commission. It will be added to your account that you made. Then depending on the program, a paycheck will be sent to either Paypal or a direct deposit. You can also choose to receive checks by mail.

For your HTML site, it’s going to be better to convert the site to a WordPress page since it’ll be easier to use. Right now based on what you mentioned Joe, the site isn’t getting visitors so while this has not yet happened, I recommend you either transform it into a WordPress site or use the free sites from WA to create a new one.

Placing ads on them right now makes no sense since the site isn’t getting any visitors. Once the site DOES get visitors, then you’ll place the ads.

But before you do any of this, most importantly, I recommend you go over all the starter courses in WA. After you’ve done that, then we can narrow down a direction you should take with your site.

  12. I’m just wondering how the affiliate links would work for someone like me whom lives in Colorado?Colorado citizens aren’t allowed to be affiliates through Amazon, per Amazon’s rules, because of Colorado’s tax laws. Are there any companies I could become an affiliate through being a citizen of Colorado?

    • Hi Nicolas, there are A LOT of affiliate programs besides just Amazon which you can sign up. JvZoo, Clickbank, Commission Junction are just 3 examples, but within those 3 examples, there are 1,000’s of things you can sell. You can also find other affiliate programs by just searching them.

If I join WA, can I use my own hosting for the two initial sites? I’m experienced with WordPress installation and configuration, and would like to do this for consolidation so that most or all of my sites are in one place.

WA looks like just the ticket for me along with my other venture and so I will likely sign up just as soon as I can devote some time to it. Thanks again 🙂

    • Hi Darrell, the 2 free sites come with hosting. That will always be included even if you leave WA. I don’t think there is an option to move the free sites to another hosting account. Any sites you personally have that are not sub domains can be moved from and to WA’s hosting though.

Also If I choose to not pay for the premium package, and stay a free member do I get to keep the website. And have full control over it (always)? Also are the 2 websites given when you sign up, are they published? Or would that be additional costs? If so what are they and for how long?

  18. I had a website “Cooking Hints From Chris” through another company. Never finished writing it but still was on the first page of Google for the tag “cooking hints”. Merchandised it through Amazon and a couple of other sites. Made a little money but not even enough to pay for the hosting (49.95/month) really enjoyed doing it although it was a lot of work.
Took the site down because I wasn’t making much money. I could put it back up for $99 plus the $50/month. I still have most of the info that I had on the site, Could I put it back up, in a new form, through your sites and maybe actually make some money? I’m retired and could really use the extra income and had a lot of fun working on it since cooking is one of my real passions.

    Reply
    • Hi Chris, those prices are very high! Domain names should cost no more than $10-$20 a year to renew and hosting should either be free or not surpass $10/month. You’re overpaying.

Joining WA is definitely a great way to rebuild the site and with the premium option, hosting is completely free so there’s a lot of savings. If you still have your old files, WA’s support can help you move them from your old host to the new site and you can continue from where you left of, but this time, with good marketing training and FAR less to pay, you’ll be headed in the right direction.

This is one of the options I would recommend pursuing since you enjoy this topic and you really can build something great out of it. Check out WA, but before you move the files, enjoy the starter membership and see what is taught there and if it’s something you’d like to try. I know it will be 🙂

  21. Hey Vitaliy (How do you pronounce that?) I have been searching for something to do at home, as I will be quitting my job this Summer to start babysitting (long story) and I need something to supplement my income.

I was going to join Doba, but I found hundreds of bad reviews. Some of the biggest complaints on them were on the free trial and refunds. They have a 7 day free trial, but there were numerous complaints about being charged on the 6th day, or being charged after cancelling. I don’t have the money for that to happen to me.

I’ve already gone p/t at my job and am making half of what I was previously making. Also, a lot of people said they could find items for the same price on Ebay or at Walmart.

What I’m wondering from you is, where would I find your other reviews? I have a list of places that I would like an honest review on, and you seem to have a lot of reviews, but I’m uncertain of where to find them. I would really like to try one of the drop shipping companies and need to know which company is best to work with.

After I have found my “niche”, I would like to try WA out.

P.S. Computer “jargon” really confuses me. (Old, but slow, lol.)

    Reply
    • Hi Melinda, for my name, it’s very simple: Vit-al-ee :). I’ve never heard of Doba, but I’ll check them out. With WA, there’s none of that stuff of charging because you don’t provide any cc info when you join the free membership.

Concerning the other reviews, I’m going to have to add a search feature again to my site. My old theme had it so anyone could type in the name of a company and if it was reviewed, it would pop up. I’ll try to add it back so that it’s easy for everyone to use.

Drop shipping is a viable idea, but I have never seen a company I fully trust. Usually they’ll charge you a default price and the only good time to use them is if you have a lot of drop shipping items on your plate and need a management system in place to organize it.

I recommend checking out WA first. You can always take the site/s in any direction you want, but with the training in WA, you are going to have a lot of new ideas that may better help you make a decision on what to do.

As for the second question you asked me about the 2 websites and niches, yes you can use them both for the same niche, but it really doesn’t make sense to do that. It’s still an option just so you know 🙂

Is the $19 for training for a extra 30 days only one time or other times or have to pay the $47 a month to have help?I one time paid $5.000 for two web sites to sale items in many stores got in debt have to pay back on two cards.

I did not have any more money for traffic to the web sites can I have traffic with WA help and how much will this cost me more or less on the web sites I had for years with no traffic? I can not put the items from my other web sites on W A free web sites maybe help on on traffic for them.

I will have my lady coming to me soon she wants to sale cells and laptops and with my help many items in the stores here in Los Angeles to people in Ghana and in other countries maybe can put on the WA free web sites in time. I want her here to learn also how to train with WA help. Can she also have two free web sites with my two free web sites. Is more then two web sites permitted in one house?I think only need two web sites I guess can use WA to sale some time on the other free web sites will pay the $47 and I bet WA will want her to pay another $47 also when have traffic and money coming in.

If you want to know the company name to check out I paid $5.000 for two web sites let me know. I was so dumb how to work on line years ago I tried and lost much money maybe with WA I can make money.

    • Hi Terry, let’s work backwards, what was this company where you ended up paying so much money? I’d like to investigate them personally. About WA:

The $19 is if you join premium within the first 7 days of being a starter, after that it’s $47 every month.

You have a lot of ideas and it’s best to work through the training and then apply the ideas you have. Without the right kind of training, you’re going to think about this business in one way, but once WA explains how it really works. you’ll find that you’ll have to adjust those same ideas, but this time, it will be realistic in terms of achieving.

The type of training within WA teaches you free and paid ways to get visits. If you’re tight on money, use the free option. It’s actually what I also use most of all. Free traffic from the right kind of SEO has tremendous potential.

For your lady friend, if she joins WA through a different account, she can also take advantage of the 2 websites. You will better be able to decide on what to do once you join and see what’s inside.

There you’ll be able to contact me as well if you have questions.

I must renew my domain names once a year at a modest cost. When you say my WA sites would be mine forever, what about host costs and domain name costs?

Also, should I decide to go with WA, would it be possible to transfer the content of my current websites to WA, and if so, what would be the cost impact?

    Thanks,
    Lorna

    • That’s some very expensive hosting Lorna! I can absolutely tell you that you’re going to save money with WA. Here are the answers:

The 2 free sites you get from WA are indeed free. No domain or hosting costs, all free.

If you join WA’s premium membership, you can KEEP your current domains you own, but change hosting providers. That way, you can host them for free instead of wasting the $29.95 every single month. The change in hosting providers takes a few steps, but it’s not difficult and they’ll walk you through how to do this.

  29. Hi. I’m an Independent Beachbody Coach, and was wondering if this would be something that would help promote that business and link back to my current Beachbody and Shakeology websites? How do we get traffic to these sites, and can I use the same techniques to draw traffic directly to my other sites? Also, how much writing is involved? Is short snipets of info ok, or is this more full blog type stuff? I’m not a horrible writer, but I’m not that great either. Thanks.

    Reply
    • Hi Stephanie, the answer to your first question is absolutely. You can use the techniques in WA and get people to your beachbody websites. The niche is basically already there: fitness seekers interested in programs related to products on that site. Even more so, you can target outside niches which would be interested in that.

To get traffic to these sites, you would have to write articles on your website concerning topics related to the niche. Maybe reviewing specific beahcbody products, posting reviews, offering general and specific fitness tips and this is where the last question on how much you need to write comes into the picture: The answer is as much as possible. The more you write, the better it will look on your website and in Google’s eyes, meaning more traffic. WA’s will help explain all of this 🙂

    Reply
    • Hi Mand, Clickbank is an organization like Amazon where you can join them and sell their products for commissions. For your first question, content writing is the stuff that appears online. Think about this for a second: When you do a search on Google and visit a site through it’s results, what are you visiting? You’re visiting content that’s relevant to your search.

Now how does this end up with you selling stuff? Well in that same example, when you visit a site, if there is a link on that page that leads you to buy something, you can bet that the site you visited is making money of that purchase. This is how affiliate marketing works 🙂

Now, I have 2 sites running. They have the same products running. One Amazon, one Clickbank. Now guess which one brings in more money?

    You’re right. Clickbank. ($116 vs. $1022 in January 2015)

Again Amazon is great but there are better alternatives and you don’t want to waste your time, don’t you?

    Reply
    • Well there’s a lot of factors besides just commission potential Tim. There’s also the niche, the types of products which fit them and in several cases, Amazon will be better because they have more to promote while CB may not have the best products to suite your niche. Plus there’s also high priced items which even at a 4%-8% giveaway will still provide GREAT commissions. I wouldn’t promote from just one or the other, but ideally both as long as it helps the audience.

    Reply
    • No problem Pamela, I’d be happy to explain 🙂 What those sites you mentioned say is true, but it’s incomplete and it’s really more of the late stage of an online business. The early and mid part are as follows:

Early part = Niche website made.
Mid part = Content is added to niche site giving it trust, weight and authority and this will also make Google spot it.
Late stage = Google spots it, puts it on their search engine, people visit the site, click on the affiliate links you add and you make money.

WA walks you through ALL the stages so you understand everything perfectly. I would also recommend giving it a shot and trying it as sometimes people get a much better understanding of the process by doing it.

  39. Hey,

My wife has been looking for new jobs in our area that will pay us well. We’ve come up with squat… so my question, because with all the scams I have to be sceptical, is what ideas do people come up with for this online business? And does what you choose dictate how much you can make? I mean if she wanted to do a online workout website, or something of the sort, does this idea help you figure out who you can sell for? I mean if she did this and then sold like workout equipment from amazon or google, is this a realistic idea? or is it more like, you are selling advertizing for a company that is already affiliated? Just trying to hunt down some answers. Thanks

    Daniel

    Reply
    • Actually Daniel, everything you’ve said applies to online business and what WA can help with. Selling products or advertising via banners (or both) are all things you can have running on your site.

As for choosing a topic being a reflection of how much you make, it really depends. Every single topic and niche can make good money if you have the right audience (and in plentiful amounts) come to your site and WA does in fact teach all of that so you’ll be fine.

So for example, you’ll find the ability to make more per sale for say expensive workout equipment vs a small toy, but where the “it depends” part comes into the picture is that the small toy option might have A LOT more buyers and popularity so you can make more sales with that. This example is just to show you that with this business, everything has potential and if the topic of workout equipment is important to your wife, she should focus on that.

    • The goal is realistic Rick. If you can really put in the 20 hours a week, I think you will see results by month 3, although in most cases, it may be closer to 6. You’re right that you can’t predict these things because everyone is different, but I would at least try it so you can see if it’s something you’d like to continue working on.

Also in regards to your other question (I erased it but here’s the answer), you’re good to go with Linux. No need for any special devices 🙂

  44. Hi Vitaliy –

This sounds interesting but I’m concerned. If I’m reading this correctly, after the 7 day trial period, you get no more support, which as a starter person, I would think I would need more than 7 days. So I would be on my own unless I paid for the premium package at that time? Is that correct, or am I missing something.

    • Yes and no Alane. Allow me to clarify. The 7 days is only for support yes, BUT if you need more time, WA does provide extensions (about 10 or more days in most instances). There will be times when people will be away when they join, miss out on the 7 days (or some of it) and will need more time to check out the site. In these cases, WA always extends these benefits. You can also always contact me through this site.

And just in case, I wanted to mention that you still keep the sites you get, plus you will always have access to starter training. But the limit is set to prevent abuse.

Also you’ll find 7 days is plenty for most people to check out the training and learn all they can from it. If not, just let Kyle or Carson know in WA and they’ll give you more time 🙂

    • Never buy email lists Ed. They are a waste of money under the guise of quantity (get millions of leads for X amounts of dollars = scam).

Google adwords is an option, but I would never go in that direction if you’re just starting. You need to have a legitimate website set up which truly delivers great content to visitors so they trust you and look to you for advise (on the niche topic). Once you have that established, you can increase the business by moving into the PPC world (adwords).

But to get all of that done, you need to again have the legitimate site set up and that’s what WA teaches you to do. You create a REAL business with their training. And a real business is what creates REAL wealth.

  45. Hi Vitaly,

I’d like to ask you if you thought my idea/business might be a good candidate for IM through WA, BEFORE I spend the time and effort in your starter program. Is there a way I can communicate it to you privately?

    Thanks,

    Ed
